DIY Makeup Brush Cleaner

Well I don’t know about you guys but my makeup brushes were really needing a good cleanse! Here is the little combo that totally rocked the gunk out of my brushes!

1- Mix together in a small bowl white vinegar and 3 drops of Young Living essential oils. Soak and swirl brushes.

2- Wash with Thieves foaming hand soap and rinse until water runs clear.

3- Tada! Clean brushes

Pregnancy workouts and Stress Away 


Before I was pregnant I was very consistent with my workouts and tried to live the 80/20 rule with my diet. Now, being pregnant has slightly slowed me down but I am happy with my efforts and getting my workouts in even if they are modified and 3 days a week instead of 6 or 7. Just keep moving is what I tell myself 🙂 

Last week we found out the gender of our little peanut, it’s a BOY! 💙

So far for the most part I’ve felt really good through this pregnancy, but it has brought about all kinds of new worries!!! Naturally I am a worry wart so I have had every imaginable thought about what could go wrong pass through my head. Thankfully we made it to the fetal exam with good news that he’s a healthy boy. Such a relief! 


Before that appointment I cannot express how thankful I am that I had Stress Away in my oil collection to help calm my crazy irrational thoughts! Stress Away is one that will basically with me for a while, I can’t see a time I wouldn’t be without it. 

My Why

Ok here’s my why for why I love sharing oils with people. Definitely not a professional at taking pictures but this little bump is my why. I want to create at healthy happy home for our little boy to come into. Because I use these oils everyday I can’t help but share with others.

A lot of people are mistaken, I do not sell oils I simply share oils with those who are craving a better alternative from harsh medical treatments or simply just harsh chemicals in our everyday lives. As a Young Living member you do not have to share oils with anyone but how can I keep these amazing life changing oils to myself?! I can’t, so I share. I share so other mamas can experience not putting chemicals into their babies and having their babies thrive not coming home from school sick every other week. So mamas can help their babies and families with their allergies or other mental and emotional concerns. Everyone deserves to know about these oils and NEEDS them in their own home. That’s my why, for my baby boy and for you.


I’ll share this little combo with you. My husband had a 24 hour stomach bug last week. I applied Digize mixed with coconut oil to his stomach, peppermint and lavender to his temples, neck and shoulders and lavender mixed with coconut oil to the bottoms of his feet.  My husband doesn’t have strong opinions either way on my oils but he allows me to use them on him when he needs them. Well, the following morning he woke up and told me that my oils were amazing!!!! YAY! He slept great and felt better! What more could I ask for? So happy to see my husband feeling better 💗

Paleo Orange Ginger Molasses Cookies

Alright, here is the Paleo Orange Ginger Molasses Cookie recipe!  These cookies smell amazing while baking and they taste even better!  Make sure to enjoy with friends and family and maybe a cup of almond milk too!

INSANELY good soft paleo orange ginger molasses cookies that are healthy enough to enjoy for breakfast. No gluten, grains, or dairy!
INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup melted and cooled coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 4 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Organic sugar for rolling, if desired
  • 5 drops Young Living orange essential oil
  • 2 drops Young Living ginger vitality essential oil
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together melted and cooled coconut oil, coconut sugar, molasses, eggs and vanilla extract. (Please make sure your coconut oil is cool!) Once mixed add in your essential oils.
  3. Next add in almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda, spices and salt; mix well to combine and form a dough. Let the dough rest for just a few minutes.
  4. Use a cookie scoop to scoop dough, then use your hands to roll dough into a ball. Roll dough in organic cane sugar then place on an ungreased baking sheet. Gently flatten the dough with your hand or the back of a glass. Bake for 8-11 minutes. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Makes about 20 cookies. ENJOY!
